A little about me...

I'm a keen photographer and passionate about the great Scottish outdoors. The majority of my work focuses on lochs, mountains, wildlife and architecture, captured in Central Scotland and the Highlands.

A freelance writer and editor by profession, I have a Masters degree from Aberdeen University. I've spent time living and working in England, Italy and France, but returned to my childhood home ground of Stirlingshire in 2014 - a great base from which to explore this beautiful country.
When I'm not at the laptop whipping copy into shape, I love nothing more than jumping in the car with my dog and camera and seeing where the day takes us. Sometimes I know exactly what I'm going to photograph; sometimes there's a vague plan and sometimes I just follow the weather or my nose. And I've discovered some of my very favourite spots by doing that last one!
